I am an artist and illustrator in Philadelphia. My drawings are a journey of discovery fueled by the riches of the earth and the anticipation of a new beginning. My work is guided by my belief that the world's vast expanse of diversity is the truest sense of 'surrealism' and often the more bizarre, the more beautiful; I explore this concept and stretch found and imagined realities into new, incredibly detailed worlds for reflection and contemplation. In 2007, 20 pieces of my work were displayed in a solo show at Azure in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia with a capacity turnout. In 1999, I illustrated a book cover for a published poetry book ('I am simple'); In 2008, I won a juried art exhibition at Mike's Famous in Symrna, DE; In 2009, I was both accepted to and sold work through my fellowship with the Center for Emerging Visual Artists CDP. Through this program, my work displayed at the Moore College of Art and Design—Philadelphia, PA, the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts—Pittsburgh, PA and Middlesex County College—Middlesex, NJ.

Born in Reading, PA in 1976, I began drawing at two-years-old with incredible attention to detail and have continued ever since. I was recognized and awarded at a very early age and find unlimited inspiration for my art in nature. Also a horticulturist, nature is a dominant influence in all of my work.
